CHES Membership,
Attached is the 2009 Revised CHES Handbook with new Field Trip Guidelines included.
As a member of CHES, you are responsible for reading the handbook and abiding by the guidelines set forth by the board.
Dear Awesome CHES families,
This past Saturday, March
14th, CHES showed up at the Stop Hunger Now food packing campaign at
Sandhills Community College---and Christ was glorified! Though the
packaging was finished before twelve, it was SO encouraging to see CHES
families witnessing to the crowd through their presence. Altogether
CHES raised/donated $1,170!!! Interestingly, that ended up being over
ten percent of the total money raised to buy the grain... and almost
FIVE THOUSAND MEALS!!! Many people at the event had not been familiar
with CHES before, but had heard about "that Christian group of
homeschoolers that gave so much." I'm SO excited that by the members'
actions others have been pointed to Christ.
Rotary plans to package meals
again next year, so we'll have another opportunity to participate in
2010. THANK YOU to EVERYONE who worked to give to others!!!
God Bless,
Charlene
